konus college 600x biological microscope

Post by Mr.Stone »

Does anybody have hands on experience with this microscope?

Im thinking of getting one and using the 10x and 4x objectives on bellows for stacking.

Here a link for the microscope:

And, is this worth bidding on?

I would leave the Konus alone.

The Zeiss is a good scope which was sold in the Zillions. It has an angle piece and binoc from a later model but that doesn't matter if you don't mind the way it looks which is a little goofy.

The objectives will want to be replaced with a matched set.

I don't know what the exchange rate or how much extra one would be willing to pay for one that has already been shipped to your own country (if that IS the case) and customs etc.

If I were looking for such a scope that one would be worth US $250 to maybe $400. Probably on the less side.

If all you want are objectives to use on a bellows , that is what you should buy. They are available separately all the time.
