This lens has a hexagonal bokeh --behind the damsel-- so only 6 diaphragm blades; never noticed this before.
Nice shot btw. Is there an other beast involved ? ( the green legs under the weevil) _________________ Fred

You've done a very good job of diffusing the flash heads, it seems - the twin highlights normally seen in glossy surfaces (eyes) are nice and soft. And the blended ambient light looks good, too.
I've used modified Gary Fong Puffers on mine, and this works reasonably well, but I'm still tossing ideas around.
Technical details aside, nice shot! Getting two photogenic subjects together like this seems to be rare. Plus, weevils are awesome. _________________ My photographs are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
