This transparency was shot several years ago, probably on Fuji film. I would have used my OM2n or OM4 with the 38mm auto bellows lens, used on an extension tube. TTL flash would have been used.
Copied via E-P2, Elmarit 60mm macro and using T32 flash onto a white surface behing the OM slide copier.
It's a girl!
All adults of the vine weevil are females and each lays hundreds of eggs and the larvae cause severe damage to the roots of cultivated plants.
