Abstract (desaturated)

On its own this image may not have much impact, but it is part of a series I feel inclined to explore...I like the unpredictable results achieved when using 'crazy glass'.

Nicolas,

Thanks for the comments.

I'm enjoying experimenting with this particular objective. It is producing some rather strange results; but I like it Smile

The objective being used is the JML (from outer space) mentioned in the following thread:

The images are intentionally out of focus. It is possible to achieve reasonable focus, but I prefer the out of focus results.

A Vivitar 2X Macro Teleconverter was attached for the following images.

(desaturated)

(Same image as above, desaturated and rotated 180)

Different image, same subject:

(desaturated)

Same image: (desaturated and inverted, plus contrast adjustment)

I have started playing with extreme DOF and Out of focus much more lately...as I start to control all the stacking process more I tend to get much more "different and original" things, may be not as artistic as your lasts wich I find LOVELY, but to mix things up a bit...when I finish next stack I will share it here, until that moment please keep uploading pics, they are worth a Big Wall in a modern house!
