Dewdrops

Post by LordV »

Some dewdrop shots from yesterday morning. All taken around 4 or 5:1 FF with a 5Dmk2/MPE-65 and focus stacked by hand.

Very beautifull.Did you use any flash light...How did you manage to avoid reflections?

What is this drop? A pearl of glass? Glycerol? Never thought that water could form such a sphere when the drop is small enough!

If so, I'm out after dew drops next morning. They look interesting.

Thanks for the comments :)

harisA - all are taken with a 430Ex diffused flash, there is a flash reflection but it is feinter than it would be if I had used a stacking prog instead of doing them by hand as when the flower is in best focus the the flash reflection is fairly OOF.

Jukka - No - they are perfectly natural early morning dewdrops on the grass
