My first post here; my apologies if any of this isn't appropriate.

I have three old microscopes, see http://delawarewildflowers.org/microscopes.php

First, any information about them would be appreciated. I've done a little searching online, but haven't come up with a lot beyond what I've put on that page.

Second, what about care and cleaning? Some of the optical and mechanical parts are pretty dirty.

Third, are any of these suitable for photographic use? If so, how? I have a DSLR (Nikon D90) and a few compact digital cameras too.

Thanks,
David Smith

David,

Welcome Smile

Might be an idea to post your thread in Equipment Discussions where it is more likely to be read by members who have knowledge of this scope and maintenance suggestions.
