As I´ve learned C-Vitamin is the same as Acidum Ascorbicum. This was bought in the local pharmacy and dissolved in the ratio 1:50 with water. I put one drop on the microscope slide and waited for about one day for the crystals to form. Water evaporates and the crystals remain on the slide. The most exciting thing is that you never know what you get. You can get 100´s of images on just one slide. Try different magnifications.
I hope this helps and feel free to experiment

Hi,
I use the Amscope T230A and in this shot I used an 10x Plan objective. I also use a third part camera adapter with my Canon 7D.
The polarizer filter I´ve used is Linear Pola from Hoya. Took one apart and fitted inside the camera adapter and one over the light source, works just fine. As I can turn the filter over the light I have full control..
