Hi Everyone,
My first post to say hello Very Happy
I'm very interested in photomicrography having just recently purchased a Canon EOS 60D DSLR. I have 2 microscopes, a stereo dissecting x20 and a high power Apex Researcher for which I have just purchased a camera attachment.
I am relatively new to microscopy but have just passed the British Beekeepers' Association microscopy examination and this is where my main interest lies, Honey Bees.

I'm a mature student studying a full time degree in biological sciences at the University of East Anglia and hope to learn more about using microscopes at the university.

Anyway, I am really enjoying looking at all the fantastic images on the forums and looking forward to posting some of my own soon.

Regards

Stewart

Hi Stewart,

Welcome to this thriving and very helpful specialist forum............I am in Warwickshire:

As an aside........one of my close friends is a bee-keeper of note who has broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Farming Today:

Should you have any bee related queries I could put you in touch?

I used to attend BBKA national events but only as a craft exhibitor....bee-keepers are usually very friendly folk I got to know them very well:

I have never used the private messages on here yet........but if you want to contact my expert bee-keeper please send me a PM:

I really look forward to seeing your posts on here very soon:
