It is quite hard to find any insect in these cold november days. This small fly (not larger than 4 mm) was sitting on a tree stump and didn't look very special at all. But seen through a microscope objective ...
Taken with Canon EOS 5D, Mitutoyo M Plan Apo 10x microscope objective on bellows, ISO 50, flash, paper cylinder diffuser, stacked with Zerene, mix of PMax and DMap method.
