I seem to be doing pretty good with the thread spool microtome. Not that I am referring to the images of course but to the fact I have not cut any more fingers...yet :D

Well if you do a cross section of your finger....remember all your friends here...we want to see it first before you have it re-attached :roll: :wink:

That's right!! Just keep fingers crossed; Ken, and you'll be on the safe side!!

I have to be a bit picky and educational here: the cuts need to be a lot thinner, to be able to see the structure of the stem.

(I hope I won't be excluded from the forum now :oops:)

Not hardly...I need all the advice I can get and I agree with you, it does need to be a thinner, a lot thinner :lol: However you got to figure I am using "homemade stuff." :-k :!: :idea: As a matter of fact, people here in the mountains of North Carolina have been making "homemade stuff" :smt030 for a little over a couple of centuries now! :lol:
