It opened instantly. Sometimes you need to "refresh".

Your second post looks good to me, but maybe it's still unclear what's going on.

The catch is that you have to both
1. upload the image, and
2. embed the image in your posting using the [img] tag.

In your first posting, no image appears because there's no [img] tag.

See Image Hosting Steps... for gory details about how to upload and embed images.

I'll try again by following the exact path of the red arrows

Image

When I click on standard it comes straight to this screen and I never get the option to click on insert but it worked anyway,I'm confused as usual.

BTW these are bubbles made from a solution of colored water and liquid soap.

This was done with the Raynox 250 and a 2X TC in front of the fixed camera lens.

Whether you click on "standard" or on "insert picture and upload another one" the image does not go straight to your post and you can review before clicking submit. At this stage I may insert two versions of an image or two different images and see how they look (in my private view of how the post will look) at the review stage before clicking "submit", which then acts as an update but for the post, as visible to all of us.

That's because clicking on "standard" means "insert the tag and close the dialog window". After you clicked on "standard", you had a properly formatted [img] tag sitting in your posting. It didn't look like an image at that point, but it shows the image when you do a Preview or Submit.

I agree, it's not the world's most intuitive interface.

The key thing is to make sure that the tags are correct and that Preview shows the posting the way you want it to look.
