Cyclops eggs

This tiny crustacean is often found with the egg sacs attached to its sides. With darkfield illumination, the individual eggs are clearly seen. The single red eye is already visible in many of the eggs.

These things always seem to make for a good subject. Looks as though there are a few algae making their home on the copepod too.
