Rik, I just bought a used Canon 40D on eBay (about 8,000 clicks). Hopefully I won't get any surprises. I am now looking for a Sigma 105mm macro lens for a canon mount, could be new or used. The Sigmas are much cheaper than the name brands but I find their optical quality to be quite acceptable.
