What kind of adaptors or combinations are you using to reverse mount an EL-Nikkor? I guess there is no one-piece solution from the 40.5 filter thread to F-mount, right?
Cheers

You need a Nikon BR2A (or equivalent) and then just 1 ring.
I have bought several of these from Heavystar, excellent!
HERE
$7.21 Canadian

Thanks NU, great resource.
Of course, I meant 40.5 to BR-2A (52mm), which you correctly assumed. However, I obviously head my thoughts elsewhere when I wrote this. The situation is not that easy because if I want to use it on my bellows (Novoflex Balpro) I would need a male 40.5 to male M39 adapter. Or, 40.5 to Leica R would also be possible. Otherwise I would have to buy the Nikon plate for the objektive end of the bellows.
Anyway, I will find a solution

Harry,
if you can't find a M39 reversing adapter for your bellows,
a M39 to M42x1 Lens mount Step Up Ring adapter, e. g. ebay # 230348828723
and a M42x1 to 52 mm reversing adapter, e. g. ebay # 120409255160
would give you a M39 reversing adapter to 52 mm, and in combination with the filter stepping ring NU linked, you're done.

Hello Harry -
I know this is a little late, but I just read your post . . . You may want to keep your eyes open for a Nikon Reversing Adapter for their older 63mm f/3.5, 50mm f/2.8 enlarging lenses. It has a 40.5mm male to 39mm male thread. I bought one on eBay for less than $20 last year. There are currently two listed here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Nikon-40-5-Reversin ... 3ef38bd32d but at exorbitant prices.
