This is a 2X3 panorama with approximately 500 source images. Focus stacked with Zerene Stacker and stitched with Microsoft ICE. On a previous shoot, I set the WB to Auto and neglected to reset it to custom, so individual frames had quite a bit of color variance. Zerene Stacker did the individual frames quite well, but each ended up with colors that were quite a bit different. It took quite a bit of work to get them somewhat balanced.

Thanks, panoramas are a lot more complex to put together, but are worth it when everything works. Tonight's shot was terminated when a CF card failed 4 frames into a 12 frame pano. :( Here's a 50% crop (area), resized to 800 pixels, of the first frame.

A lovely thing, elf. How big's the original? The "larger size" is only 917 x 1108...

It's only 4710 x 5694 or about the same size as a single D3x image.
