I can't confirm the species but that should be caranaria not Canaria unless it preys on canaries!

The only Google hits for Sarcophaga Caranaria are a Heavy Metal Band

I can find listings for Carnaria and Canaria in both scientific and lay publications and my ID book is Canaria.

The Natural History Museum in London lists it as Carnaria so I would be inclined to believe that ...
