A walk over the local market brought a nice Creeping Zinna to my balcony.
An ideal target to test out the UV enhanced High Power Xenon, the XUVIR "one shot" filter, the Xcut2 filter as well as the well known Baader U filter.
Equipment used was: Nikon D70 (unmodified), UV Nikkor 105mm lens @ ISO400, f11, 1/180sec.
VIS using XCUT2 filter (400-650nm):
UV using Baader U-filter (310-390nm):
XUVIR multispectral filter (300-100nm), UV Flash:
XUVIR filter (30-1000nm), unfiltered Xenon flash for multispectral recording
UV induced fluorescence using XCUT2 filter (400-650nm), UV flash (at daylight):
P.S.: Creeping Zinnias (Sanvitalia procumbens) UV pattern is not that easy to record, it need scareful filtering and a good UV source. The reflection measurement proves that. Low UV reflection (<10%) while high IR reflection (>50%):

We forum Admins have kept this one sitting around in queue for a few days, trying to figure out how to work it in around the regular posting rules of 3 images per day per gallery.
In general, we would prefer to see comparative and sequence studies prepared in the style of THIS OTHER ONE, using small images as links to larger backup images. That way the page loads rapidly and fits more on screen for casual viewers, while people who want to study more closely can still access higher resolution.
In the case of the current topic, we finally decided it was better to just allow and explain the exception. Trickling this topic out over several days would make no sense, and reformatting it to fit the recommendation would take more time than it would be worth. So, let's just make a note for future reference.
Many thanks to Klaus for the careful and interesting work, and also for graciously putting up with our nitpicking!

@Rick: that for allowing in that case multiple images!
@Franz: The sol called X-filters are my owns developments and some may be bought directly from me, they are not commercially available. Others are from client projects and I am not allowed to pass on info about them nor sell them....
