Gosh this thing was a pain to setup! I balanced it on some moss to shoot and it kept falling off. For some reason, although I am sure it's dead, bits of it kept moving for ages after I took it out of the freezer...

Man, this is almost a puzzle picture. You've told us what the subject is, but it's still hard to figure out exactly what part!
After much thought, I gather that we're looking at the critter's right eye at image center, with one antenna sticking up and then to the right. So the critter is sort of lying on its right side...
Am I seeing this correctly??
I'm also thinking that this is a BIG springtail -- in springtail terms, of course. Knowing that it's with the 10X objective, I'm inclined to think it's around 2.2 mm across the field, which would mean the whole springtail must be several mm long. Or have you extended more or cropped closer?
