Linville Falls during the Winter

Post by Ken Ramos »

I have shown this area in another post but never like this here. These images were all taken with my new Tokina 12-24 mm f/4 wide angle zoom. Well...a guy has to show off his new stuff...doesn't he?

Aieeee! That's a long way down! There are people fishing down there. I used to hike down there with my flyrods and fly fish brown trout all the day long.

Thanks Larry :D Yes it is a very nice lens, very well constructed and reasonably priced too, about $300.00US less than a similar Canon product. :D

Well it is our Favorite Places forum there Larry, where if you have places that you favor for shooting macro among others I suppose, you can show us where they are and what they look like, with up to four images per post only of course. Have a favorite place where you like to shoot there Larry? We would like to see... :D

Yea my garden is a real mess tho. With having the little uns tieing up my time I just don't have the time for gardening. Its a jungle out there, long grass, weeds everywhere. Looks a real mess but is a haven for bugs and stuff!
