This is the shed skin of my baby chile rose tarantula.
It was quite hard to get as i had only daylight to use plus the structures are quite thick and it was dificult to select the focus point!
First the eye area:
The area around the mouth:
A palp joint
another palp joint, closer to the foot (not the thick black hairs)
This is the sternum, with a furrow in the middle
Finally a view of the underside of the carapcae, near the leg joints
baby Tarantula parts

Video of underside
The fangs were very hard to photograph as they are curved upwards, so i made a video showing them at various focus points.
I extended this to the length of the body:
hope this works!

Also I did the same with a foot, which is very thick and dense, impossible to get a flat image:

I, for one, probably would never pick a tarantula as a pet, but I know a lot of people have them. The eye section of the shed skin looks very cool. So, your pet spider is named "Pepsi" He sure does like those crickets.
I had snakes for awhile and they were fun to feed
On another note...as an administrator of the site, I have to remind you of the image posting guidelines: The posting limit is three (3) images in each Image Gallery every 24 hrs. Take care, Doug

Absolutely! Ive been fascinayed with spiders ever since I was a kid-I used to be known as Boris the Spider by my family when a board game was brought out with that name.Ken Ramos wrote:You have a tarantula for a pet!
Most of my family still calls me Boris to this day!
Oh I also have a pet House Spider too, a Tegenaria duellica:
