Hi all
Here's more pictures from my trip to Extremadura in Spain. This time it's odonates, some of the species that does not live in Denmark.
All uncropped, Canon 5D, Sigma 150
Platycnemis acutipennis, Orange Featherleg, male
Orthetrum chrysostigma, copulating pair
Oxygastra curtisii, a young male yet to develope green eyes.

Thank you all three for replies.
Epaulet Skimmer in the second photo is an African species that has extended to southern Europe, and I think they are still expanding northwards. First time I saw it was in South Africa.
The third picture is the most "rare" one, as it is very difficult to find this species perched. It has a limited range in southern France and parts of Iberia, and is considered threatend on a global scale. Only species of the genus Oxygastra.
