Dancing on the ceiling.

Ok not dancing, but we found this little fella on the kitchen ceiling the other night.

Appears to be a Lacewing and a beautiful green one too!

Lacewings were totally absent from my garden last year. Not sure why or perhaps they weren't there in great numbers. I've only seen two this year.

Do they come in other colours? I've only ever seen green ones.

This is a beautiful specimen. The ceiling is not where I would expect to find one, but I will take them anywhere they happen to be.
