These two photos were taken in Amberley Chalk Pits Museum.
Within the Chalk Pit and in the immediate surrounding area some 14 different Orchid species can be found.
The Museum does have a website. The dear old Health & Safety have requested that paths and other areas used by the public visiting the museum be concreted over to prevent trips and falls, but it also reduces the viable areas for these plants to flourish, even the nature trail has been hardcored for the same reasons, and in some areas the plants have suffered because of this. Occasionally an albino variety is found.
Of this species on the site there are many hundreds of plants, though the albino variety is as to be expected not commonly found.
Also around in quantity are Twayblades, the Bee Orchid, Orchis Apifera, should be coming into flower very soon.
