The Damselflies are just appearing round my pond again. Two of them hawking backwards and forwards for insects. Trouble is they never seem to perch at a nice height and close enough to get a decent shot, or just move as the lens gets too close though you need to get closer as they are much smaller than Dragonflies.

Plus one I found from last year which seems to have the colours reversed "Black & Blue".

They are lovely. First one on the blade grass (or whatever it is) lengthways is just great. There's a large red one in my garden and I've no pond. :D

I had it understood sunlight, compliment for light always difficult situation with Damselflies and Drangonfly :smt023
