OK, I confess this is not strictly macro - shot with zoom from a foot or two back, but it is still close-ish, and a behaviour shot I found pleasing.

Close enough there Graham, actually about the same as compared to any other post, as far as getting in close is considered for these things, I think. I believe this is a first isn't it? Egg laying? I cannot recall any other posts at the moment having shown such. Good depth of field, sharp and a nice background too! :D

Everything looks very "natural" Graham. A great "Behavioral" capture. (did I spell that right #-o )
