Hi there, and welcome. Don't worry about the language, we are several here that are not all that good at English.

That is a great "head-shot" of a fly, with a good selection of focus point.

Can you say which equipement you used ? Always nice to know shutter speed, apperture etc. too.

Gérard-64, welcome aboard and congratulations on your first posting! :D

This is an excellent fly -- sharp and nicely lilluminated. What equipment and technique did you use to shoot it?

By the way, I wonder if this photo is in the correct place. It is currently posted in the Nature Photography gallery, which is reserved for "undisturbed subjects in their natural environment". But the fly appears to be dead, and the lighting and background suggest that the picture was taken in some artificial setup.

Should we move the photo to the Technical and Studio gallery? It looks like it would fit in very well there.

You are getting lots of nice DOF in these pictures :smt023 The head and face are very well lit with the flash.
