Nice -- does a great job of showing off those modified legs that centipedes use as poison fangs.

The view-from-below angle has a lot of impact -- kind of makes me think "OK, if I just stay real still, maybe he won't notice I'm here! 8-[ "

The image might be even better with some more diffused light coming from the front. I'm thinking there must be a lot of detail in those dark regions that I just can't see. (Hhmm, yep, just tried out a [0,1.70,223] levels adjust -- lots more to see in there...)

Nice shot Doug, interesting angle!

I've often seen these around but been a bit scared to try to catch one! ;)

I think he's a bit grumpy looking :D and most certainly NOT creepier than a spider.

Doug,

What a scary creature! This perspective really shows of the mouth very well.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you all very much for the compiments. I still need to work on my lighting. Actually this looked a lot brighter on my 22" LCD. but every other monitor I have seen it on, it does look darker. I will need to adjust my monitor down a little.

Thanks to you there is now one of these in a pot in my freezer! ;) I suppose a couple of days in there will be enough to kill it? I really don't want that jumping out at me when I open it up!!
