Ichneumon wasp

Post by Ken Ramos »

At least I think so, no ovipostor as I can see, well maybe there is but if so it is, like the wasp itself, quite small. However, I am thinking it is the end of the other back leg and it also looks like one of those "Pixar" cartoon movie characters.

Skinny has it, that there are approximately 3,000 species in North America, with the family so large and so diverse, as to identifying to species or even genus is really quite difficult. :-k

Aww...careful now, you'll hurt its feelings  I thought it to be quite cute and lovable actually, though there are caterpillars and such who might tend to vehemently disagree!

Thanks Aynia :D
