Yesterday was another of our string of gray, wet spring ? days here in the Pacific Northwest. Had snow in early April. Here are a few shots from around the yard. These are handheld with a Nikon D300 and 105 macro lens using a SB800 diffused flash at -2.

Dandelion seed head

Salmonberry flower and imature fruit

Strawberry

Beautiful colors and backgrounds and quite sharp. Composition is good with the exception of the second image. I would have move the flower a little more to the right but then again it is all subjective. Wink The rainy days maybe disappointing but keep in mind, with water comes life and with out it, we would all be taking photographs of dead stuff. Laughing
