You know this is really a nice shot and would be even better had that cranefly been a tad bit sharper but we take what we can get and you did good there Nikola. Very Happy

Nice shot! but is it actually a cranefly?

That flower looks like a "forget-me-not" to me, in which case (unless your ones are giants compared to the forget-me-nots in the UK!) that looks too small to be a cranefly. Some sort of mosquito perhaps? All of the craneflies I know of are in the order of 15-20mm long at least...

Well, I'm doubting now. Maybe baby cranefly? Confused
Vergissmeinnicht means forget-me-not in German. It is really very small and has feathered antennae.
