Don't forget that the 60mm lens lowers the nominal magnification a lot.
Thanks, I thought that might be the case.
Unfortunately the +4 diopter will not get you anywhere near 3x.
Oh well, 3x was quite ambitious. We'll see how we get on with the +3 diopter and extension tube individually - and in combo...

Thanks to everyone for the contributions! If I get any worthwhile results I will report back in another section. :D

Hello
tonight i was trying to do something with some Reduviidae eggs i found in a flower of rosemary and I thought of you...

I don't know how big or small Myxomicetes are as I never saw any for real ...

anyway here is what I got using a Raynox 202 (25 D) on the Oly 60mm
the magnificatin is round 2,7 : 1.. like 6,2 mm FOV.
I'm not happy.. but I suspect my Raynox sample has to be bugged .. i bought it new but I never liked it .. CA, huge distortion ... I got for sure a bad sample ...
(or I did something very wrong)

at 2,7:1 130 shots at differential 2
the white top of the eggs looks fairly good, but the rosemary is full of glittering.
