Dear microscopists - I have been working on crystals for the past few weeks trying to get Beer, sports drinks, water and even human tears to reveal their crystals and have had some success. I have written an article which I hope will be of interest to all microscopists and posted it today.

I am attaching a few pictures below from the article. I have also linked to numerous science papers about crystallization, seeds, solvents etc that I believe would be helpful to anyone who wanted to try this form of photomicrography. The identify of the crystals and all the methods I used are in the article for those interested. For those more experienced you might be able to identify the crystals in the pictures and the techniques used.
