Hi,
Just wanted to post last years macro from the field not far from where I live.
In 2-2 1/2 month the season should be good again. Just now, the forecast says more snow to come.
So looking forward for a new season

Funny enough in 2 -3 months my season is (almost) over...
In this area of Portigal there's not a wire of green grass in the beginning of June... High temepratures and little humidity... no woods.
It's not exactly "over" but all the beasts who depend of green grass or flowers are gone... to get a decent time shooting I need to go by car to near the water or where there are woods...
Nice shot and gorgeous bugs..

Beautiful insects! Not sure if these are Cerambycids or Chrysomelids.
We still have intermittent snow, but there are arthropods, including insects that are active in the winter. Just last weekend I was in the woods, with several inches of snow, and came across a male orb weaver spider making its way across the open snow! That was a surprise.
