My mistake - appears, inner diameter was 40mm, thread - 46mm ](*,)
So bought 43mm-40.5mm step down adapter and used on the
http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/v ... 873#234873, instead 42mm ring.

Mitutoyo BD COB version with the Optiphot adapter

40.5mm is too lose, but works with some teflon tape. Most probably will buy 42-40mm adapter
