For the Triops I used nothing for cleaning. The ultrasonic cleaner has regular dishing water in it. So far none of my specimens got damaged by the ultrasonic cleaner, but as I use no special solvents for cleaning I can't say if that would harm them.Macro_Cosmos wrote: May I have some specifics on the types of liquids you use and your setup with the ultrasonic cleaner? Would the cleaner ruin specimens badly? I was advised against using it to clean minerals since it could cause serious damage, not sure about insects.
How about the other liquids that can be seen in the photo? I assume there's cleaning alcohol and/or similar liquids.
Thanks!
