Multiple mushrooms
While shooting some colorful polypores and their associates in the northern portion of the state a few weeks ago I noticed a small white item resembling brain coral.
This small fungus probably fits into the group of so-called coral fungi, perhaps a Sparassis.
Poking around across the street from my home recently I found a similar, but quite tiny mushroom on a rotting stick and brought it home to photograph on my indoor rig. It seemed grossly to be quite similar to its northern cousin, but not the same.
