Can anyone find a use for these clamps? There are around 8-10 in total. Free to a good home (buyer collects - Newcastle upon Tyne- or covers courier costs). As you can imagine, they are heavy.
When screwed in fully there is still a gap of a few cm's, meaning they wont clamp to thin desks.
Also a couple of stereomicroscopes and a B&L Stereozoom 4 head or two. PM me if of interest.
I also have quite a lot of other bits and pieces around (microscope objectives,etc) which may be of interest to someone. I'll add them when I can.
P.S. As an aside, this photo was taken using a phone camera and the subject was lit by a fluorescent from above a couple of LED's in front. It sometimes gives these vertical rainbow stripes seen in the image. I don't know if it is just the reflection from the stainless steel surface.
