Rotifer found in brackish water sample near Drakes Beach CA (Can anyone ID?)
20x Splan APO and 40x Splan Objectives used. Olympus BH2 Nomarski DIC. 1080 available in video settings

thanks guys! you know, after watching the 20x video again closely, at about 0:35 in you can see its tail/foot. I think its anchored to the underside of the coverslip, so its just hanging there and floating. Shortly after this it opened up and zoomed off, so i got pretty lucky to capture it.
