Pyrocystis fusiformis, stills added, cytoplasmic streaming
See video link https://youtu.be/x4EzMVQBswc showing a time lapse (2 frames per minute, 12 fold time acceleration) of the bioluminescent organism, Pyrocystis fusiformis, showing the cytoplasmic streaming of the photosynthetic organelles moving to the center of the cells as the organism transitions to the bioluminescent dark phase. The higher magnification section also shows streaming near the nucleus on the bottom right. Please make sure you select HD on the video settings. This is a small part of the project I've just finished for Magical Microbes which included product stills, 4K video and microscopy. You can see the BioGlo unit at the end of the video.

Houstontx, I used a Sony Alpha a7S II mirrorless for the product shots and bioluminescence because it has excellent signal to noise ratios at high Iso settings. It is full frame and 12 mpix, great for low light. The timelapse was taken using a Canon EOS 5DSR at full 50 mpix raw. This gave me the ability to crop the final video as needed.
