Q: Zerene stack on a rock album? A: Yes!

Post by todd.billeci »

First post...

I used Zerene Pro to generate shots of various small invertebrates for an experimental film project, some adverts, and a couple of rock albums. Attached is an advert for one of the rock albums, which released a few days ago. The image is sepia toned as per production design. Methods: One hundred slices, 55 mm + bellows (Nikon, about 1X), depth map processing. Have fun...looking forward to some enjoyable chats P.S. that critter is predatory marine snail Chicoreus spectrum (~30 mm shell).

Welcome aboard!

OK, "Zerene stack on a rock album" is definitely a new application for me!

Speaking as the fellow who wrote Zerene Stacker, I am highly amused. :D

I'm glad you laughed. To be clear, I earn no royalties from these projects...posted for fun.

Thanks for the elegant, user-friendly software. As a result, more macro work in future fine art & commercial projects is planned. ????
