Water mite (larva?)

Post by Aenima »

Hi,

Haven't posted here for a while, and been trying to learn and improve - [slowly but surely] - and don't think my images are as good as the amazing photography on the forum, and of course any critique or tips will be most welcome, so yeah recently took this image of a water mite (larva?) and thought it came out okay. Focus stacked about 6 or 7 shots, cleaned up background, and high pass sharpened. Reduced size and quality to upload.
:P

Taken with a canon 1000D, olympus BHTU - DPLAN 4x achro, dark field

Thanks for looking.

Very nice shot. I like how you captured the amount of detail that you have.

thank you carlos grgh and vasselle :)

It's probably the best i've managed with larger critters in Darkfield so far.
