Spirogyra and nucleus detail

Good work Olympusman. Seeing Spyrogra nuclei clearly is not easy.
Even the super accomplished David Walker of micscape fame had trouble seeing a spyrogyra nucleus with a Zeiss Photomicroscope III.
An interesting article about Spyrogyra and whether or not it was really the first microorganism ever seen under a microscope (by Van Leeuwenhoek) is at:
