Finally found some time to pimp my Amscope T490B

Stepper motor

Infinity (Reichert tube lens) dovetail/42mm adapter and 42mm/Nikon-Reichert head adapter (this thing could be used on my studio setup also).

Very cool. I love how the stepper motor is linked to the focus knob. Very well-constructed. How are you controlling the motor?

Hard to say - just started this field. It depends on the situation.
They work good on the Amscope. But not yet on the my vertical setup - maybe because of the different condenser and other optics
