I thought this was interesting. This isn't packing peanuts, nor styrofoam. About a 1 mm piece. No external lighting was used.

I machined a adapter this morning for my MM-11 and a 28mm Schneider Kreuznach Componon enlarger lens. The dovetail on that adapter mimics the MM-11's nosepiece dovetail. It fits fine. I pressed a 30.5mm filter (after taking the glass out) on the end of the adapter so I could screw on the reversed enlarger lens which also allows me to adjust the f/stops. That was Charles idea in another posting I read. Seems to work fine. This is just a preliminary test. A stack of 8 images at .005" increments. I should have taken a few more pics to get everything in focus. Image is a 50% crop and resized at 1024.
