K4[Fe(CN)6] · 3H2O - another try!

Post by Mike »

Hello all,

Just getting back into microscopy after being away for quite a few years, and amazed at how much I have forgotten!

At any rate, here are a couple of shots I made of potassium ferrocyanide crystals with pol illumination on a Leitz Orthoplan, 6.3X & 16X NPL-P objectives.

These were single shots, spot metering, using a Nikon D200 coupled with a Nikon UFX-DXII, unfortunately using the wrong relay lens (2.5X vs 1.67X).

Would appreciate any feedback.

All the best,
Mike

I like it. Interesting results. Hopefully I will try that soon.
