I don't blame the poster if he doesn't want to reveal his exact methods, especially as he has something that is working in a very nice and rather unique way. Colour phase contrast has certainly been described in the past. I'm aware of Leitz Heine, Reichert, and Zernicke versions and I believe Nikon attempted something similar with their Interference Phase Contrast Unit. There is some information and discussion here:

Maikl's images are as good or better than any I have seen published on the web for colour phase contrast, so yes I would still love to know how it's done.
