Hi everyone, I like to photograph ants in nature and I use the MPE65 often for that..I love the automatic aperture that allows me to compose and focus with the lens wide open.
Sadly I don't feel comfortable with Canon and I want to do the same with my nikons, there is an option for a Nikon body, with about 3X magnification and automatic aperture?
Thank you very much for your answers!

Re: best choice for automatic aperture lens 3X (not mpe65)
Hi Bernardo,
For even better performance at 3x than the MP-E 65, and on a Nikon, the Canon MP20 or MP35 are a good choices and much easier to use due to the tiny size but they are manual both manual iris.
The Lomo 3,7 would be great also but no iris!
I have a 4X shootout with these lenses coming out at the end of the week.
Very nice work on your Flickr, people should all take a look. Not just pretty but great behavior shown as well.
