I revisited some old stacks which I have failed to nail. In this stack I found that the some of the single images were good by themselves, so I selected this one which had halo rings in the background. It is an egg from Artemia Salina in DIC.

Understood artemia eggs are common fish food; dry eggs can be bought, add water and 90% will turn into brine shrimps. Don't know if you tried but this may be another interesting experiment to watch the development through the microscope.
