Nikon DIC conversion

Well, this demonstrates that you aren't actually getting DIC but likely some kind of oblique illumination where the condenser prism interference band is acting just to darken partially the aperture. Graham calls it VOILA

Ah! Yes, he call's it Poor Man's DIC. Now my mission to source the interemediate tube with combining POl/Prism, ugh this is going to be a mission i can already feel it! Thanks so much for your help Pau and everyone else who gave there input!

You got it Pau that's what is actually happening. ohhh gosh, do you have any advice in what i should do? I already invested to much into this setup. I guess i will wait until i saveup some money and buy the intermediate tube and POL/Prism slider. I wonder why is it so rare to find the intermediate tube?

...And likely you'll also need to replace your objectives for the adequate transmitted light ones
