I recently acquired the Wemacro Rail and I love it. You did mention to write my review and I am compiling it. sorry for the delay.
Thanks for the information.

I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger on the Wemacro.

Just one question: What did you mean by "sharks"?

I have done short videos to explain the wemacro rail. I planned 4 parts.

3 parts are uploaded. 4th is in editing mode.

Part 2: https://youtu.be/Mj57tYknNA0 I explain the setup in this.

Part 3: https://youtu.be/DC6S6dzAQJkI explain the software in this.

Part 1 is just explaining the difference between amazon slider and this.

Also I am myself new to the wemacro world and studio setup world. Learning a lot from this forum.

I just corresponded with him by email.

It took me a while to figure out how to check order status, and when I found it, it said "Payment Pending".

I sent them an email to confirm that payment was in order.

I got a reply very quickly that it in fact was.

As of this point, they're head and shoulders above the United States Postal Service, at least in terms of customer service! :D

They are really good people. Sadly the Ecuadorian postal service is worse than that of the US, and my updated controller and rail are still in transit after three months. (At my request William sent them to the US, and my family repacked them to conform to Ecuadorian customs rules and sent them on to me.)

William uses DHL which is really good. It just takes a couple days to get here!! Other mail services can take weeks, but they are probably cheaper.

You will be required to sign for the order I believe, so make sure are around when the delivery is expected.

If you like to use the Wemacro outdoors, William has a nice battery pack that uses 18650 LiOn batteries. These 18650 last a long time if you get the proper ones (Samsung). Also powers the Stackshot Controller and rail, they both use the same connector and voltage.

Keep us posted on your progress,

Best,

Mike

I'm not here during the day and there's no rental office, so I have everything sent to a friend's office.

Virtually my only opportunities for outdoor macro aren't particularly amenable to tripods, being mostly spiders in awkward locations in and around apartment garage doors. That's virtually ALL I see here except for extraordinarily rare appearances of other invertebrates on totally random and unpredictable places, like the robber fly and stag beetle, which I believe I've posted here.

I'm sure that there will be more than enough indoor macro opportunities with inanimate objects to keep me busy for the coming fall and winter.

I got my Wemacro today!

It's a shame when I can get something from Shanghai, but can't get something from Kentucky.

I still need some odds and ends before I can get it set up.

In the meantime, I'll download the Android app.

Good job William!

Your videos were pretty helpful for somebody with no experience of automated rails.

Thanks.

I am also in your same boat. Learning the wemacro and its concepts one day at a time.
